Lego Technic 42109 Formula 1 Car MOC

Rebuild your Lego Technic "Top Gear Rally Car" set 42109 into a "Formula 1 Car" alternative model using these digital building instructions. No additional parts needed.

This is one of the best B-models yet, with well-crafted shapes, very compact, and much faster than the original model.

Functions:

- RC rear-wheel drive powered by one PU xl-motor

- RC steering controlled by one PU l-motor

Worth mentioning aspects:

- Has a gear ratio of 1:3 from the motor to the rear wheels

- Batteries can be easily swapped from below

- Needs a custom profile from the Powered Up app to be controlled. Detailed steps are provided within the MOC building instructions for this as well.

- The PU hub is completely concealed, but the MOC has a very quick and interesting way to turn it on, the method is explained in the building instructions.

- Staying true to F1 cars, it has very low ground clearance.

- The MOC has optional steps to add side mirrors or even change the color scheme of the exhaust (all within the set's inventory).
